How did it all begin? With curiosity. With a thirst for adventure. With a journey around the world that took Daniela Hoyer and Thomas Hies in 1995 to places like India and Indonesia. In their luggage: a Sony VX1. And it worked – from the very beginning, our films were broadcast on television. We kept traveling and filming, across Asia, Africa, and South America. Our first 45-minute documentaries were created.
